New Maine Law to Protect Sensitive Feelings

Passed and signed into law:

An Act to Extend the Protections of the Maine Civil Rights Act to Actions That Cause Emotional Distress or Fear of Violence

It seems odd that this legislature and this governor would pass a law protecting parents who feel their children are being threatened by the trans movement but the way I read it I don't see why the threat of harm to do trans surgery on someone's child wouldn't come under this law.
