Bobby Charles

If you have driven in Maine recently, chances are you have seen quite a few Bobby Charles political signs along the road, but who is this guy who is running for Maine Governor? I have seen some ads both favoring and strongly opposing him, but I haven't heard him speak and I know almost nothing about him. I am surprised that this guy who, by the way, reminds me of the mustached guy in the Monopoly board game seems to be quite popular in this highly contested governor's race.

He introduces himself to Glenn Beck's audience in this YouTube video and goes on to rather accurately explain the current state of Maine's government. I would say he has a pretty impressive resume.
