Virus Research, Bats, and China

For the past couple of years at least I have been watching these two guys, one from the USA and one from South Africa, who have been living in China teaching English. Both married Chinese women and have started families of their own. For years these two guys would get together and ride motorcycles around the cities and into the countryside in China while filming it with GoPro cameras and conversing about China on an intercom. The environment for foreigners in China soured recently and both of these guys left the country although for a little while they explored Vietnam and Taiwan by motorcycle. They both now are living in the U.S. but they individually and together still make YouTube videos about China.
One obvious advantage these two guys have is their ability to communicate in Chinese. They have nurtured relationships with Chinese people and are getting real world real time information from China.

Here is a video that brings to light something that no other news outlet has revealed concerning the coronavirus outbreak. Skip the cellphone part and forward to the 5:20 point in the video although the first five minutes is also quite eye-opening.
