There was a debate in Oxford that has been featured online this past week involving Nancy Pelosi who in the mind of many many Americans is vying for the number one slot of America's most despicable politicians.

This video discusses Pelosi's positions concerning supporters of her political opposition, the Trump folks.

Sixteen minutes into this video the young man who confronted Pelosi brings up the point that when he confronted her with a tweet by Trump on January 6, she looked him in the eye and said, "Why are you doing this?"

Doing what? That's what I ask. Why is he doing what? Why is he speaking the truth when it contradicts the official narrative as defined by her?

Um.....

Perhaps because appealing to authority in a debate is considered a fallacy? Could maybe that be why?

My wife thinks Nancy looked a bit drunk during this debate. Now that she mentions it, that might explain why she seems so unintelligent here.

Another Point:

This debate also brought up the term "democracy" which is often mentioned by Democrats (the Left) as though they somehow own the word and the Right have no right to use it.

It just came to me why that is.

From the perspective of the Left, which these days means the radical left, the Socialist Marxists who dominate the Democrat party, there is no such thing as God, no such thing as objective truth, and no such thing as objective reality. Truth and reality are narrated by the political authorities who, in many countries, are the winners of elections.

Don't miss this point. From the perspective of the political Left, government authority dictates what the truth is, not God and not objective reality.
