The Opposite of Love

Everybody thinks that the opposite of love is hate. The problem is, the word "hate" is one of those words that nobody has a clear definition of. We each define hate according to our own whims. The word "love" shares some of that messy fate but with respect to finding its opposite, that isn't a problem. We have a clear enough perspective of love to observe its opposite.

I think the opposite of love is disdain.
Love is the sharing of equality.
Disdain is how you justify dominance.
