Feeling the Low

One of the last things I watched yesterday was a Senate hearing where FBI director Kash Patel was being grilled by a Democrat (I think it was Blumenthal) who called Patel a liar because he promised during confirmation hearings not to politicize the FBI and then just turned around and started firing leftist FBI personnel who had politicized the FBI during the Biden and Obama administrations, not to mention what they did against Trump during the first Trump administration. Patel bristled. I didn't see smoke, but man...

Am I just thick-headed here? That's like someone accusing a surgeon of malpractice for wanting to remove cancer cells.

Democrats are disturbingly deranged.

I have to admit, though. That was a perfect pitch that Patel should have hit a home run clear out of the ballpark with, and all he managed was a foul ball. I mean, this is just about the last chance this year for anybody to hit a home run - going into game 7 of the World Series.

And the hope is that next year voters will turn both houses of Congress Democrat again. That is such a depressing possibility!
