My take on this, besides the inherent immorality of the whole thing reflecting Maine's leftist-dominated government, is that if this legislation passes and if this kind of kidnapping becomes legal, other states will certainly counter by protecting the kidnapping of Maine kids by states wishing to protect American children from abuse by Maine liberals.
