James Comey - Former FBI Director - New Book

It's not likely I'll ever read James Comey's new book but I've been sitting here listening to Laura Ingraham's coverage of it and only one question comes to mind.

My one question:

Why didn't James comedy Comey resign the first day of Donald Trump's presidency? Any way you rationally look at it that was the only correct action for him to take.
