Just yesterday, or maybe the day before, I saw this video of empty cities and neighborhoods in China, not the brand-new cities they built that nobody ever moved to but existing older cities and neighborhoods. These places looked just like the older urban neighborhoods in the videos back during the Covid-19 pandemic that we all saw on the news where Chinese authorities in full hazmat suits were dragging screaming and struggling people from their homes and stuffing them into police vans. So, something is emptying these neighborhoods, something that Chinese authorities are not discussing.

A Little Slow

Being a Mainer myself I tend to know who Angus King is. He came "from away" and was Governor of Maine for a while. As I recall, when his stint as governor ended, he made haste to pack up his camper and depart Maine ASAP (although maybe my memory isn't correct on that). He returned to Maine politics a few years later and set up residence down closer to his home state of Virginia representing us naive Mainers. That was of course before Janet Mills sent Maine careening over the leftist cliff.

King claims he is an "independent" but Maine conservatives know otherwise.

I can explain why King can't understand this. He's getting old and feeble-minded and slow to understand complex issues, that's why. At least that's my opinion. Like I say, I've been watching him and he (just like Maine's "senior" senator Susan Collins) is taking on that Joe Biden thing mentally.

Please don't take me seriously. Although I think this is true, I mean this as humor.

As insane as it sounds, there are now videos on YouTube that are making the claim that Ukraine, during this current war, has found the funds to build a $1,200,000,000 (that's 1.2 billion) ski resort.

That reminded me of back when the US was fighting Iraq during the first Gulf War in the early 1990's there was concern that snowmobiling in Maine was taking a hit and needed to be encouraged. That was back in the "support the troops" movement. So basically, it was something like support the troops in Iraq by burning more gasoline recreationally. Any sane mind would rebel against such insanity but since when did sanity mean anything during wartime?

I can't speak for the rest of the world but I have been noticing for the past few months at least how insignificant and untrustworthy the news headlines have become, especially the MSN headlines whenever I open up a new window in Microsoft Edge.

Some of the headlines are so ancient they seem to be covered with mold!

Kidding of course, but how can people trust the news when it has become so distorted, so TDS obsessed?  

Touting the superiority of F-15's and F-16's? Even the ancient F-14 that only the Iranians fly now?

Bragging about the superiority of America's airpower when building warplanes in the USA has become so expensive all they can do is upgrade the relics?

Bringing up old stories about the Hubble and James Webb space telescopes as if the story just broke in the news yesterday?

All to simply deceive us... as in propaganda...

And they wonder why they have trust issues.
