Small Town Sentiment

I was born and grew up in a small town. In the Air Force I lived in Fort Worth for a little while and after I got out, I lived in Portland... Maine... for a little while but I soon moved back home and lived my life in a small New England town. I wasn't impressed by city ways or by the claustrophobic lifestyles that cities spawn.

So I'm not surprised by the recent expression of rural resentment over the kinds of things liberals support in cities that wouldn't go over very well in a small American town. I'm certainly not in a panic about it the way so many city folk are who are being encouraged by the propagandized Marxist media.

I tend to see things this way:

For some reason city folk, since they outnumber us common sense country folk now, think they should be able to have control over us. Know what I'm saying? They might even insist on fighting a war with rural America over that very thing. I wouldn't encourage them to try but hey, they might even win it.

But they'll never change our minds.

Bill Maher and Jordan Peterson - Bookmark This One!

This movie-length YouTube video just came up on my YouTube algorithm and although I have a hard time listening to either Bill Maher or Jordan Peterson, both insanely egotistical snobs, this interview has me spellbound. I have to bookmark it in this blog for the future so here goes:

It seemed obvious to me that Peterson clearly had the upper hand here intellectually, but Maher does a masterful job of drawing Peterson out and getting to the core of what Peterson is getting to be known for now, truth far beyond what Maher and his followers are used to hearing.

Ukraine - Nuclear Power Plant On the Ground Insight

I realize this video is just short of an hour long and that watching Patrick Lancaster videos can be tedious because so much of the conversation is in Russian with English translation captions, but I made it through this video last night and it is certainly food for thought. I'm not sure I agree with the two Zaporozhye (Zaporizhzhia) power plant officials he interviewed late in the video, but they seem to think Russia has no reason to blow up the plant and it would be very difficult for Ukraine to cause a nuclear disaster short of using a dirty bomb.

I'm not convinced, but hey, find this story covered this way anywhere else in western media.

So who stands to gain the most if the plant is damaged? If Russia were to do it, there's no gain for Russia but there's a huge loss in international as well as Russian national support. If Ukraine does it and the world blames Russia the way it appears to have done with Nord Stream 2 or with the Kakhovka dam, and if Ukraine succeeds in drawing NATO's direct military involvement into the war as this video suggests, then not only does Russia lose international and national support, it loses its effort to keep NATO out. Ukraine succeeds.

How can you say a thing like that and not even notice what you said? Like maybe the thought she expressed with those words might be common to her?

She didn't even flinch and it didn't phase the audience at all. Go figure.

That notion is certainly common among the elite academic establishment, and you hear it a lot from the wealthy "new world order" proponents. It is a well established although rarely reported fact that those who think they are in power feel that the world's population needs to be reduced by something on the order of 90%... or more.

I have to confess that to me there is nothing worse than child sex abuse. It is as unhuman as inhumanity can become. Recently it has become apparent to me that my view isn't shared by everybody. But the movie Sound of Freedom has pried the lid off this Pandora's box.

That's an interesting little article, considering it comes to me less than 24 hours after going to see Sound of Freedom which seems to have a core focus on Colombian cocaine and pedophilia. Do you suppose they reopened those tunnels in DC after Trump's exit? I always did wonder why Pizzagate was so swiftly swept under the rug when Trump moved to DC. It still puzzles me, especially now that Americans are becoming aware of child trafficking and sexual abuse here in the "land of the free".

I have a tendency to believe that Trump's biggest mistake, assuming he was the person his supporters thought he was, was that he assumed he could clean up the mess in Washington without bringing the actual mess to our attention. Big mistake, Donald. Even God doesn't promise that kind of magic.
