Thank Biden for $5.00 Fast Food Fries

A couple of hours ago we stopped at a MacDonald's in Bucksport to use the restrooms and I was looking at the menu. The cheapest burger on the "dollar menu" cost $3.49. I couldn't find plain hamburgers or cheeseburgers. We wound up buying one order of large fries, nothing else, and the bill came to $5.07 with Maine state sales tax.

We can all thank Joe Biden, the push for $15.00 an hour minimum wage, and all that Covid money they used to pay people to not work for that little treat. Next time I'll just use the restroom.

The Maine Embarrassment

Maine made national and world news this week as the first - and at this point only - state in the United States to ban President Donald Trump from the Republican primary ballot for the 2024 Presidential election.

What an embarrassment to live in Maine! Governor Mills is bad enough but this tops everything.

Conservative pundits online have been pointing out that President Trump has not been convicted of insurrection but that it is the insurrection clause of the 14th amendment to the US Constitution that bans people guilty of insurrection from holding public office. Its main purpose when ratified was to ban Confederate officials from holding office back in the 1800's once the Confederate states had rejoined the Union after the Civil War.

What seems strange to me is that I had to use Google to query whether Donald Trump had ever been convicted of "insurrection". No "conservative" pundits are talking about this.

It turns out that he was.

Seven days after the January 6, 2021 protest, the House of Representatives in a sham political trial with the help of several prominent Republicans voted to convict and impeach President Trump for inciting insurrection on January 6.

When the House of Representatives was taken over by Republicans in the 2022 "midterm" elections, it should have investigated the legitimacy of that impeachment trial anticipating Trump's popularity in 2024. Talk was all it ever did, though, and that impeachment trial was never demonstrated to be the political hoax that it actually was.

What does that mean?

It means that the Republican Party is as guilty as anybody through its silence about that political hoax for what Maine did this week. They saw this coming and ignored it despite the fact that virtually all Trump supporters were aware that the January 13, 2021 impeachment was bogus, was political theater, was the work of political hacks in the US government.

There is no hope for America's future as long as the majority of both political parties want to run the country by using political theater instead of by respecting and advocating for truth.

It appears to me that the term "groupspeak" and the term "groupthink" are unrelated in meaning. I can't imagine why that would be, actually.

"Groupthink" in Wikipedia refers to the way people are pressured by the need for conformity to all be in agreement even if they are agreeing with an untruth or even a harmful concept.

So why shouldn't "groupspeak" refer to the things that people say when they are going along with groupthink?

I would think the most likely means of spreading all these variants would be the vaccines themselves. In fact, I would imagine the use of vaccines to spread flu variants has a long history behind it dating back to when yearly flu shots became common.

But that's just me using common sense. It's an opinion I have. I leave the proof to daring scientists who are waging a new kind of war against biological weapons.

If the people of the world can ignore facts that contradict the "safe and effective" claim and can continue their blind faith of Covid vaccines...

I have an opinion about Israel and Palestine's Hamas.

There seems to be a bipolar response to the Israel/Gaza war. Either you are pro-Israel or you are pro-Hamas or you express no opinion at all.

I, being me, don't agree. I feel that just because you are disgusted by Hamas, there is nothing about Hamas that gives anybody the right to say that Israel is good. That judgment is best left to God.

I happened to watch this YouTube interview with US presidential candidate Ramaswami and it dawned on me that this CNN interviewer was presenting the perfect example of how CNN and basically all the legacy media responds to inconvenient truth. She gaslights her audience by telling them that they are not hearing what is being said to them.

CNN Reporter PANICS when Vivek REVEALS the TRUTH about J6!!!

Before it finally gets beyond her control, she repeatedly says that Ramaswami is saying there is no evidence while he presents the evidence. Pure gaslighting for all to see.

Ironically the only thing out of place in this interview is the truth that Ramaswami is speaking. Other than that, this is what CNN and all the networks have been telling their audiences for years, the opposite of truth.

A good many baby boomers remember the time when in a pinch you could always eat at MacDonalds for a buck and maybe even get some change back. Later, that was the big deal with the "dollar menu" which reflected back on that nostalgic time.

Since Joe Biden became President (I won't say was elected to become) things have changed a bit as anybody who still patronizes the fast food chain should have noticed. Remember, one of the Biden initiatives was the $15.00 an hour minimum wage push which resulted in signs outside the restaurants even in more rural areas for help wanted at $18.00 to $20.00 an hour.

It took Donald Trump to turn that trend around, but the resulting abundance was too much of a threat for the socialists.

Sure you can blame Covid-19 for the sea change but remember this. Covid-19 was a virtual wet dream for the Democrats in America who fight tirelessly to eliminate abundance and promote shortages and reliance on government spending.

Mind you I'm just speaking from one man's point of view. Nobody ever agrees with me so beware.

What Nuclear Weapons?

In a bizarre twist of propaganda, it came out two days ago that some of the rockets fired at Israel on October 7, two months ago, landed near an Israeli nuclear weapons storage facility. Major news outlets around the world have been reporting on this story giving the location of the base as well as estimates of the number of nuclear weapons involved. Reports claim that Israel neither confirms nor denies the story.

My question is this:

Why would the world's major media outlets, habitual propagandists for all things Israel, announce to Israel's enemies the location of Israel's nuclear weapons - especially considering all the effort over the decades since the 1960's denying the existence in Israel of nuclear weapons?

This story triggers my doubt reflex. It's not that I doubt that Israel has for a very long time possessed and kept hidden from the world its nuclear weapons program. I don't doubt that for a second. I just doubt that it would be world news if the facility were targeted by Hamas considering the danger to Israel's security of revealing the site's location, unless the story is intended to smear Hamas while not in any way endangering Israel.

In other words, this makes great anti-Palestinian propaganda.
