Beat This for Fake News
If someone were determined to trash the reputation of their magazine, what better way than to publish fake news. From Ms. magazine:

If that were children that my title were referring to, it might make you wonder why nobody's looking, especially when it is the only responsible thing to do.
But oh no... no, no... That's not right. From the BBC:
From the article:
"When you hear the phrase 'missing', you think that there is a child that someone is trying to find and can't," he said.
"That's not the case here. The government has not made any effort to find these children."
I see a concern shared by a good many people here in America yet it's hard for these guys to see anything unusual or suspicious or - - - worthy of further concern.
Is this TDS or something more, pedophilia, child prostitution, or something even worse? Isn't the Trump policy the better way, better than the Biden admin policy of ignorance?
My local newspaper seems to be infiltrated with leftists now, so it was with disgust but not with any surprise that the November 21, 2024 edition contained an extensive editorial on pages 4 and 5 of Section B trashing President Trump and his team. The article was written by Marvin Ott, a summer Maine coast visitor. The newspaper in question is the Ellsworth American and low and behold they published Mr. Ott's hate-filled screed online for all to read:
Mr. Ott is said to be a Southeast Asia Studies scholar at Johns Hopkins so it would seem rational that he would be familiar with things such as biological weapons research laboratories, considering the amazing coincidence of Covid-19's first appearance in Wuhan, China which is where the biological weapons research lab doing "gain of function" research with bat coronaviruses is located. Trump long ago asserted that Covid-19 came from that lab and in any realm of rational thought, that is true.
But Mr. Ott seems to have a mental block when it comes to claims of bioweapons labs in Ukraine and he uses this mental block (which he seems to presume is shared by his readers) to attack Tulsi Gabbard. He refers to her claims by comparing them to "the tooth fairy and the man in the moon."
Here's Tulsi:
It almost seems like everybody hates a good conspiracy theory because people who spread them around are crazy - or so some say.
Sometimes the truth comes out and resolves a stubborn one.
Consider today to be the time for this one. People have been saying for years that people in prison because of their participation on January 6, 2021 are being tortured in prison. Most people are inclined by their need for trust in their government to disbelieve that claim.
That makes this idea a true conspiracy theory. Somewhere the truth exists.
Now there's this:
As the defeated Democrat Joe Biden ratchets up the war in Ukraine to the nuclear threshold in his final days in the White House there comes evidence that the DOJ could be shredding documents. Now why would they want to go and do something like that, eh?
This could very well be just fake news but despite that fact it still seems highly likely that the story is true and that this is just the beginning of a nationwide shredding spree.
I think I recall a post I made here maybe a couple of months ago about cooking oils. After that post I came to think that of the common vegetable oils, cooking versions (high temperature resistant) of two really good ones seem to be sunflower oil and safflower oil, preferably organic.
That oil is wicked expensive compared to cheap supermarket cooking oil.
The other day a friend mentioned to my wife and me about the health benefits of cooking with tallow. She was saying it is a much healthier cooking oil. Yesterday my wife and I were in the supermarket and it crossed my mind to look for tallow on the shelves. I was surprised to find it but the only quantity they had was a jar containing less than 16 ounces of tallow and that jar cost something like $16.00 plus.
That's a lot for cooking oil.
So then I remembered rendering quite a large amount of venison tallow one year when my son got an early season buck bowhunting. So since we were right in the supermarket we asked the meat guys if they sold beef fat. They did so we bought three 2-pound packages at $0.69 per pound which seems steep still but oh well, it was for a learning experience that I was in the mood for. Frozen turkey yesterday was $0.39 per pound just to compare prices. Thawed it was $2.50 or more per pound.
Last night I watched some YouTube videos about rendering tallow and this morning I got the process started and found yet another video. This one is a good one:
It has been coming to my attention lately that there is a whole lot of narcissism out and about these days with reference one way or another to Donald Trump and his TDS critics. The critics have since 2016 labeled Trump as narcissistic. There are people who know Trump well who say that accusation is ridiculous.
I've spent time here on YouTube listening to advice about narcissism, how to identify it, what purpose it serves, how it affects a person's personality and behavior. Everyone has a subconscious knowledge of narcissists, how to identify and defend against them so I'm no different.
But just this morning I stumbled onto [Thank YouTube algorithms that have identified my interest in outdoor travel, pickup trucks, and attractive young women] somebody who I swear is the poster child narcissist and low and behold a few minutes into her presentation she sympathizes with all those who are hurting now after the election. She sympathizes with all those like herself, dedicated narcissists who hate Trump because he's such a narcissist.
Anyway, don't take my word for it. It's just my first impression of this new fellow traveler:
This video discusses American intelligence. Thank you, Candace:
American leftists are having a hard time explaining what went wrong with the Harris/Walz campaign, why Kamala didn't win the election. It's this guy's fault. It's that guy's fault, it was Kamala's fault, on and on it goes.
Trump's explanation is the real reason, though. What is Trump's explanation?
Trump is saying that Americans want common sense, that they voted for common sense.
Here's the thing...
It doesn't make much sense to leave the border open and flood the country with immigrants illegally.
American voters knew that but leftists ignored them.
It doesn't make sense to surgically and chemically alter children who have fantasies of being born in the wrong gender body.
American voters knew that but leftists ignored them.
It doesn't make sense to allow biological males in women's sports and in women's bathrooms and locker rooms.
American voters knew that but leftists ignored them.
It doesn't make sense to "defund the police" and then falsely claim a reduction in crime because arrests and convictions were lower.
American voters knew that but leftists ignored them.
It doesn't make sense to mandate electric cars and trucks when the energy grid is nowhere near supporting the demand and when car owners can't afford new cars anyway and when electric cars don't work all that well in cold weather or on long trips.
American voters knew that but leftists ignored them.
It doesn't make sense to rely on abortion, the killing of the fetus, as a primary means of birth control.
Believe it or not, American voters knew that but leftists ignored them.
It doesn't make sense to stock school libraries with pornographic queer books and expose school children to drag queen shows.
American voters knew that but leftists ignored them.
It doesn't make sense to demand higher wages to counter the effects of inflationary runaway federal spending.
American voters knew that but leftists ignored them.
It doesn't make sense to call concerned American parents "domestic terrorists".
American voters knew that but leftists ignored them.
It doesn't make sense to use the courts to punish political opponents and expect the American public to approve.
American voters knew that but leftists ignored them.
It doesn't make sense to pretend that the mainstream media isn't leftist propaganda.
American voters knew that but leftists ignored them.
It doesn't make sense to promote war in Europe and risk nuclear war to prove the leftist political claim that Russia is bad.
American voters knew that but leftists ignored them.
I could go on and on.
It doesn't make sense to say that all White people are racist but no other race suffers from that flaw.
American voters knew that but leftists ignored them.
It doesn't make sense to narcissistically abuse anybody whose views differ from your own.
American voters knew that but leftists ignored them.
It doesn't make sense to lie about the origins of Covid, to lie about biological weapons development, to hide the dangers of the Covid vaccines, and then claim that the unvaccinated shouldn't even have the right to go out in public when it's the vaccinated who are continuing to spread Covid.
American voters knew that but leftists ignored them.
The point is that the Left lost this election because they insisted on turning a blind eye to common sense. Lefties, it's YOUR fault that your minority views lost. Believe Trump. Your views suck. Your intolerance sucks. Your ignorance sucks. Wake up!
From Paul Joseph Watson on YouTube:
From the Maine Wire yesterday, one day before the Presidential election:
Tomorrow is election day in America, and it has become clear this time around that this time it's the American voter verses the government establishment. It's not Dems verses Republicans anymore. It's "we the people" against government dominance.
Vote for Trump if you believe in "we the people".
Finally, someone debunks the hoaxes. You won't find this on the news:
If this doesn't make you wonder, I don't know what would:
Don't ask me why, but I associate the word "alchemy" with drug use in ancient times. I am inclined to think that most religious concepts have their roots in secret societies that used various mind-altering chemicals or plants for their insight into the realm of the divine. The "seers" saw and the blind wound up worshiping their insights.
But hey, that's just me. I offer no documentation to verify this. It's just one of those things that make sense when you think about it. Just common sense.
This video came on my YouTube this morning. It's been playing in the background. Something about this lady's presentation that make me want to hear what she is saying, hear her message and maybe learn from her tips.
Life in the 2020's in the USA is different from when I was a child growing up in the 1950's and 1960's. A lot of people then lived like we did relying on home food preparation skills - not for fear of the future, of famine, but because of the effects and memory of the Great Depression of the 1930's. You had to know how to get by with plenty even though you lived near the poverty line (which may not have even existed in that Baby Boomer era).
Anyway, great food tips:
