The terms "Ashkenazi" and "Khazars" (not recognized by my spell checker for some reason) have appeared here in my journal from time to time with reference to that percentage of the world's Jewish population originating over the centuries from European populations.
Here is an article that stirs the already muddy waters and tends to deny or minimalize the Kazar origins but confirm the European roots of the modern world Jewish population.
An interesting subject that this article brings up is that there seems to be evidence that the current "Palestinian" population largely consists of descendants of the actual Jewish population of the area who remained in place after the Romans purged Jewish leadership in the second century AD. If this is true, then the Zionists have been and are at war with the actual descendants of Israel.

Well here's one for ya. From practically day one of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Russia has claimed that there were NAZI's in Ukraine and they were going to rid the country of them. The response in the West was and still is, basically, "What NAZI's? There aren't any NAZI's in the Ukraine."

There was a debate in Oxford that has been featured online this past week involving Nancy Pelosi who in the mind of many many Americans is vying for the number one slot of America's most despicable politicians.
This video discusses Pelosi's positions concerning supporters of her political opposition, the Trump folks.
Sixteen minutes into this video the young man who confronted Pelosi brings up the point that when he confronted her with a tweet by Trump on January 6, she looked him in the eye and said, "Why are you doing this?"
Doing what? That's what I ask. Why is he doing what? Why is he speaking the truth when it contradicts the official narrative as defined by her?
Um.....
Perhaps because appealing to authority in a debate is considered a fallacy? Could maybe that be why?
My wife thinks Nancy looked a bit drunk during this debate. Now that she mentions it, that might explain why she seems so unintelligent here.
This debate also brought up the term "democracy" which is often mentioned by Democrats (the Left) as though they somehow own the word and the Right have no right to use it.
It just came to me why that is.
From the perspective of the Left, which these days means the radical left, the Socialist Marxists who dominate the Democrat party, there is no such thing as God, no such thing as objective truth, and no such thing as objective reality. Truth and reality are narrated by the political authorities who, in many countries, are the winners of elections.
Don't miss this point. From the perspective of the political Left, government authority dictates what the truth is, not God and not objective reality.

Here's a voice that is new to me. His YouTube channel doesn't have all that many followers, but his insights seem to resonate with me. For years I have talked about how the radical left has no respect for the concept of objective truth and refuse to allow themselves to conceive of any vision of God that is not simply a straw man fallacy.
In this video the host speaks of "post modernism" which results in this denial of reality that I rant about. In my view, his commentary is what is most insightful about the video.
On renewable energy:
I've watched a few more of this guy's videos and I have to admit, I think he is 100% wrong about the war in Ukraine. Western aggression forced Russia's hand and is pushing the issue deep into the danger zone. This Baron guy is blind to that reality for some reason. Everything nice he seems to be saying about the West was forfeited by the Biden administration and by the wave of radical leftism that has taken over in the West.
That said, I think the West has forced Russia into an alliance with the enemies of Western globalism that could easily lead to nuclear war. The West is playing high-stakes poker with our survival as a wager and Russia on its knees if it doesn't defend itself.
That's my view anyway. It's not the view of this Baron guy.

As much as I want and wish that Donald Trump would deliver America from all this Marxist ideological nonsense, he really does seem to be ignoring America's most troubling concerns.
He sides with House Speaker Johnson as the House raids the treasury and pushes censorship and does nothing to reveal the truth about January 6 and basically offends the MAGA movement.
Wake up, buddy. We're calling out to you for help and you've joined the uniparty neo-cons!

I'm not into horse racing or betting or anything but a good horse race can be exciting. I just watched a rerun of yesterday's Kentucky Derby, won by a nose among three noses, and it is something to see. Watch the winner squeeze between another leader and the rail and charge out ahead only to find that had there been only a few more yards in the race he wouldn't have been the winner at all.

There's a thing brewing now concerning President Trump and the CIA - CIA spying on Trump and withholding information from him during his presidency. This video from Next News Network gives a good overview of the scandal.
However, Donald Trump's response, included in this video, troubles me in that it essentially is the same response that Donald Rumsfeld had back in the Iraq War days when pictures of the Abu Ghraib prison abuse hit the Internet. Rumsfeld criticized the soldiers who leaked the pictures to the public. Trump criticizes the CIA agent who blew the whistle on the agency, not the agency's abuse of the public trust.
Strange? I think so! The general public has the sense to know when our secret government is abusing power, but Donald Trump is clueless?
