My wife keeps reminding me that when you point your finger at somebody, there are three fingers pointing right back at you. Try it.

That should serve as a warning to those among us (myself included) who follow conspiracy theories against the "deep state" but tend to forget conspiracies relating to Trump.

After thinking about what this video appears to be revealing, I have to say I can't see any particularly good reason to believe this guy. I'm not saying it cannot be true, just that this proves nothing. It seems to be coming from people who want Trump to fail, who want Trump to be a pedophile and who want Melania to be an "escort" rather than a fashion model, and who want to believe that Iran wasn't secretly working to produce nuclear weapons and therefore wasn't a threat. Since I disagree with all three of those points, no matter how tempting it might be to believe this guy, I don't.

What becomes of conspiracy theories when they turn out to be true?

1. Right wing conspiracy theory people hear about it.

2. Most people never hear that it was found to be true so before they can find out, the issue is swept down the memory hole by virtually everybody else.
